The NYC Building Operator Training program<\/a> aims to extend the lifespan of building equipment; improve safety, compliance and emergency management protocols; reduce dependency on outside service providers, and better manage contracted services. \nThe curriculum for the 30-hour training program covers:<\/p>\n\n
Building systems, including heating, electrical, and water systems<\/div>\n<\/li>\nPreventative maintenance of equipment<\/div>\n<\/li>\nBest practice energy efficiency measures<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
