Varsalona, PE and Partner Steven Tingir for 25 years of dedicated service and outstanding leadership at the firm. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Peter Varsalona joined RAND as an intern while studying engineering at Columbia University in 1992, just five years after RAND was founded. Since then, he has played critical role in building the company into the leading full-service engineering and architectural firm it is today. In 2001, Peter was made Principal and Vice President. In his additional role as Mechanical\/Electrical\/Plumbing Team Leader, Peter\u2019s expertise and dedication to his work and our clients has earned him the trust, respect, and admiration of clients, peers, and employees alike.\u00a0For more on Peter\u2019s journey from intern at a startup to principal of a 90-person firm, read our 25th anniversary celebration <a href=\"https:\/\/randpc.com\/blog\/from-intern-to-principal\/\">blog post<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As Partner and RAND's Facade and Roofing Team Leader, Steven Tingir\u00a0has been the guiding force on every one of RAND\u2019s exterior repair projects since August 1992.\u00a0With his detailed knowledge of facade and waterproofing systems and his expertise on technical specifications, Steven has directed the design and construction administration of RAND\u2019s largest projects, including a $31 million Capital Improvement Program at Franklin Plaza Apartments in East Harlem and a $45 million Capital Improvement Program at Nordeck Apartments in Averne, NY on the Rockaway Peninsula.
