Based on this reporting, buildings will be assigned energy efficiency scores. The scores will then be rated from A to F as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong> - score is equal to or greater than 85;<\/li>\n<li><strong>B<\/strong> - score is equal to or greater than 70 but less than 85;<\/li>\n<li><strong>C<\/strong> - score is equal to or greater than 55 but less than 70;<\/li>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong> - score is less than 55;<\/li>\n<li><strong>F<\/strong> - for buildings that didn't submit required benchmarking information;<\/li>\n<li><strong>N<\/strong>\u00a0-\u00a0for buildings exempted from benchmarking or not covered by the\u00a0Energy Star program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Building Energy Efficiency Rating labels will be available in the NYC Department of Buildings' <a href=\"https:\/\/a810-dobnow.nyc.gov\/publish\/Index.html#!\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DOB NOW Public Portal<\/a> annually on October 1.
