Significant NYC and Jersey City building compliance deadlines are fast approaching including, FISP Cycle 9C, Local Law 126's Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures (PIPS), Jersey City Ordinance 21-054 facade inspections, and much more. Meeting these deadlines is imperative to stay in compliance, avoid costly fines and violations, and maintain the safety of your buildings.<\/p>\n

FISP 9C Deadline Approaching<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Buildings with block numbers ending in 1, 2, or 3, the deadline to file your FISP 9C report is February 21, 2024. The lead time for a typical inspection and filing is now 3 to 5 months. Act now to schedule your facade inspection and avoid late filing penalties.<\/p>\n

\"\"Parking Structure Inspection Reports Due This December<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

NYC now requires parking structures to be inspected by a licensed engineer every 6 years as part of the Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures (PIPS) Program, per Local Law 126. Most Manhattan garages must be inspected and compliant by December 31, 2023.<\/p>\n
